Npower voted worst energy company again

For 6 years in a row Npower have been voted the worst energy company by the members of Which? Magazine

Which? Magazine members voted on customer service, value for money, accuracy of bills and dealing with complaints. With 87% of people still with the big 6 only 10% of consumers had switched provider in the last year even though there were large savings to be made.

Npower received a massive £24m fine last year due to mis-billing and not resolving the issue fast enough. This money will be used to compensate customers and some will be donated to charity.

The Competition and Market Authority (CMA) is currently reviewing energy market to determine if it is working effectively with the results to be issued in the next few weeks.

Which? executive director, Richard Lloyd, said: ‘We hope the competition inquiry into the energy market proposes radical ways to shake up the energy market and find ways to ensure millions of people can switch to better deals while also protecting vulnerable customers from paying over the odds.’

With oil prices tumbling 40% since 2014 now is right time to switch energy supplier and save.
