Buy a property in London’s historic Admiralty Arch, which could set the record for the most expensive flat ever bought in the capital.
The 15,000 sq ft home, which boasts 12 bedrooms and 12 bathrooms, is London’s first £150 million flat.
And Spanish developer Rafael Serrano, who owns a 250-year lease to the Grade I listed landmark, has started marketing the flat to potential buyers.
The buyer will have the chance to own the whole apartment or split it into four smaller properties.
London property agents expect the price tag to range from £8,000-£9,000 per sq ft, making the total price tag about £150 million once stamp duty and fees are accounted for.
Mr Serrano said: ‘The option for one purchaser to buy one serviced-residence would create the largest serviced residence apartment in London, and with the best views in the capital.
‘We have created a dream team of architects and artisans to care for this historic building which has been part of the fabric of British royalty, politics, history and culture since the 1900s.
‘Admiralty Arch has always been a symbol of British social and political power and which has witnessed Coronations, Royal Weddings, grand state occasions and Presidential visits.’
The last resident of Admirality Arch, where Mr Serrano is also building a luxury hotel with 100 bedrooms, was former deputy prime minister John Prescott.
The apartment is set to become London’s most expensive flat, a title currently held by a penthouse at One Hyde Park that cost £140 million in 2014.
