David and Victoria Beckham’s new £6million country home

Incredible aerial shots show work at David and Victoria Beckham’s new £6million country pile is at a STANDSTILL.

The couple’s dream home is months behind schedule after ongoing rows and council planning bosses.

Work has moved at a snail’s pace on the sprawling Cotswolds pad – after their elaborate plans were blocked by planning officers and new ones were drawn up only to be bound up in bureaucratic red tape.

Reports show the couple had been hoping for a swanky nine-bedroom barn conversion with trendy natural swimming pond.

The couple and their four children had been wanting to move in to the renovated property this summer but have instead spent recent weeks at their home in Los Angeles and now may not move in for the remainder of the year.

David, 42, and Victoria, 43, bought the property in the new year from landowner Nicholas Johnston, an Old Etonian friend of David Cameron .

The property boasts a triple-barn joined at its north end by two glass-walled walkways to make the shape of a capital letter ‘E’.
